Viatran's 246 pressure sensor is an electronic pressure transmitter designed to accurately measure barometric pressure to within 0.01 in HgA. The 346 measures pressures over standard ranges of 25 in HgA to 32 in HgA.
Features
The 246 pressure transducer meets the requirements for engine test stands and environmental test chambers where extremely accurate baraometric readings are crucial. It is also used in altitude test chambers where it an be scaled to a digital indicator to the pressure or equivalent altitude.
The high accuracy makes it ideal for use in Automated Weather Observation Systems (AWOS) and Automated Surface Observing Systems (ASOS) at airports.
