Detachable Level Transmitters


 

Model 590

Designed for the continuous level measurement of water and thin fluids. New Detachable design allows the user to avoid costly removal and re-installation of existing cable and conduit runs whenever transmitter replacement or calibration is required.

Use it to measure Liquid Level and Depth for Water and Waste Water applications, at Lift Stations, Reservoirs and Dams, Rivers, Holding Ponds, Wells, In-ground / Above Ground Tanks and with Inventory Tank Gauging.

Ranges from 0-40"WC thru 15'WC have combined accuracy of +/- .50% FSO

Ranges greater than 15' WC have combined accuracy of +/- .35% FSO

 

 

Model 591

Designed for the continuous level measurement of water and thin fluids, The Model 591 Detachable Level Transmitter is similar to the Model 590 but provides a higher accuracy solution of 0.15% FSO. The detachable design allows for a quick sensor swap without the removal of the installed polyurethane standard cable. PVC and FEP cables are also available. 590/591 have the deepest level rating of the Detachable Level Series at 835'. Sensor head and/or cable can be ordered separately. A complete range of accessories for use in level applications is available.

Model 592


PVC Detachable Level Transmitter designed for level measurement of water, wastewater as well as fuels and oils.

Use it to measure Liquid Level and Depth for Water and Waste Water applications, at Lift Stations, Reservoirs and Dams, Rivers, Holding Ponds, Wells, In-ground / Above Ground Tanks and with Inventory Tank Gauging.

Ranges from 0-40"WC thru 15 'WC have a combined accuracy of +/- .50% FSO

Model 593

The Model 593 Detachable Level Transmitter allows for a quick sensor swap without the removal of the installed cable. No special tools are required. Simply pull up the sensor, twist the sensor coupling sleeve till it is no longer engaged and then simply separate the two halves.
593 is constructed of a 316L stainless steel housing and ceramic sensor module, with a polyurethane cable as standard.  Different cable materials and O-rings are available.
Use it to measure Liquid Level and Depth for Water and Waste Water applications, at Lift Stations, Reservoirs and Dams, Rivers, Holding Ponds, Wells, In-ground / Above Ground Tanks and with Inventory Tank Gauging.

Accuracy is 0.35% FSO

Optional Improved Accuracy is 0.25% FSO

 

Model 595

The Model 595 Detachable Level Transmitter allows for a quick sensor swap without the removal of the installed cable. No special tools are required. Simply pull up the sensor, twist the sensor coupling sleeve till it is no longer engaged and then simply separate the two halves.
The Model 595 is constructed of a PVC housing and ceramic sensor module, with a polyurethane cable as standard.  Different cable materials and O-rings are available.
Use it to measure Liquid Level and Depth in applications where resistance to caustic materials is required.  Semi flush ceramic sensor aids to reduce clogging if media contains solid materials.

 

 

Model 596

When you need to replace your wastewater level transmitter, you don’t have time to wait. Downtime is not an option. With Viatran’s new RapidShip program, this Detachable Level Transmitter is available in as little as one 1 to 2 days.

The Model 596 is a rugged transmitter that is ideal for higher viscosity media and is resistant to a wide variety of materials. Its semi-flush ceramic sensing face resists clogging and is easily cleaned, allowing it to be used without a cage.

This model can operate in pressure ranges from 0-32 in. w.c. to 0-335 ft. w.c. (or equivilent in meters or PSI )and an operating temperature range of -13° to 185° F (-25° to 85° C). Viatran also stocks six of the most popular polyurethane cable sizes in lengths up to 150 feet (46 meters). When ordering, please specify the range (depth) and cable length needed.

Submersible Level Transmitters


 

Models 517 and WW517 Submersible Level Transmitters

The Model 517 is an all-welded Stainless Steel transmitter designed for accurate level measurement in Water, Corrosive media and hazardous locations up to 1,200 foot depth.
The Model WW517 is a waste water level sensor with design that prevents clogging. Hazardous location approval option, 3" Teflon coated diaphragm open face design which helps to prevents clogging. 316 stainless steel body. Integrated cable support loop to support the body. Optional baffle plate to provide increase stability and protection of the sensor. Kevlar reinforced cable prevents cable damage as a result of repeated removal.

Cable Clamps and Hangers

These easy to use Cable Clamps / Hangers are available in corrosion resistant Stainless Steel nor Rust resistant galvanized steel. "No Crush" contoured jaws ensure the internal vent tubes will not be damaged. Support up to 560+ lbs.

 

 

Cable Weights

These 1.2 lb zinc plated cast iron cable weights can be easily installed on your level transmitter cables. Designed for secure attachment on cables to stabilize the level transmitter in turbulent media.

Vent Compensator

With proper installation, the Vent Compensator allows gauge pressure sensors to freely sense barometric pressure changes
without the averse effects of moisture and humidity. The Vent Compensator requires no maintenance and eliminates the need
to use or maintain desiccants.

Rodent Cable Shield

Protective Braiding to provide extra protection to prevent rodents from chewing through cables.

J-Box Polycarbonate Enclosure

NEMA 4X/IP67 polycarbonate enclosure provides simple transition from submersible device cable to your cabling. Environmentally sealed with barometric equalizing passage.

SharkCage Option for Models 593 and 595

Provides extra protection to the detachable sensor models 593 and 595, reduces FOG blockage to the sensor, adds weight to provide stability in turbulent installations.
